The implant site becomes much stronger once the jawbone integrates with the implant. Osseointegration can take from (1) month to (3) months depending on the individual.

An abutment or attachment piece is secured to the implant. The new crown is made to match perfectly with your other teeth. The size, shape, and color will all be considered prior to the final fit. The final crown may take some time to make. During this time a temporary crown is attached to the implant. The temporary crown ensures that the patient can eat and talk without any issues. The temporary crown is only used until the permanent crown is ready.
